Inktober 2025 Day 19 | How to Draw Mrth (Zentangle)

Welcome to Day 19 of Inktober 2025! Today’s tangle is Mrth, created by Zentangle HQ. Mrth was developed following another tangle called Pangea, which is made up of irregular, island-like shapes that come together in a reticula. When exploring fillers for Pangea, this design emerged and became such a lovely pattern that the team decided it deserved its own name. In this video, I’ve drawn two versions. One outlines the edge of the initial Pangea-style shape, while the other leaves the edges open, allowing tendrils of Mrth to escape and flow beyond the border.
