KEJARI OKI BERHASIL AMANKAN JAKSA GADUNGAN YANG DIDUGA PNS

On Monday, October 6, 2025, at approximately 1:30 PM WIB, a team from the Ogan Komering Ilir District Attorney's Office apprehended a man claiming to be a prosecutor with the initials BA at the Saudagar restaurant in Kayu Agung, OKI Regency. On Monday, October 6, 2025, at approximately 8:00 AM WIB, Mr. BA and two of his friends, dressed in civilian clothes, arrived at the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office to look for the Head of Operations Control (Dal Ops) for the Special Crimes Division of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office. They then met with a staff member who told them the Head of Dal Ops was not there. They then left the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office and headed to the OKI District Attorney's Office. Then, at approximately 11:30 AM WIB, Mr. BA came to the Ogan Komering Ilir District Attorney's Office as a guest wearing the Prosecutor's uniform and complete attributes with the rank of Associate Prosecutor (4A, Prosecutor's Pin, Persaja Pin) and claimed to be a Prosecutor at the Attorney General's Office Intelligence JAM. Mr. BA conveyed to the Internal Security (KAMDAL) of the OKI Prosecutor's Office to meet with the OKI Chief Prosecutor, Head of General Crimes, Head of Intelligence or Head of Special Crimes of the OKI Prosecutor's Office. Furthermore, after receiving a report of the guest's presence from the Internal Security (Kamdal) of the OKI Prosecutor's Office, the Kamdal met with the OKI Prosecutor's Office Administrative Staff and then the OKI Prosecutor's Office Administrative Staff immediately received Mr. BA's presence and BA had a brief conversation and asked about the handling of Special Crimes cases and asked to meet with the Head of Intelligence. Because the Head of Intelligence was still busy, BA asked to meet with the Head of Special Crimes Investigation Sub-Section of the OKI Prosecutor's Office and met directly and had a light discussion regarding the handling of Special Crimes cases at the OKI Prosecutor's Office. After meeting with the Head of the Special Crimes Investigation Sub-Division at the OKI District Attorney's Office, BA then met with the Head of Intelligence at the OKI District Attorney's Office and had a casual discussion. He requested a connection with the OKI Regent. However, the Head of Intelligence stated that he could not connect with the Regent. After a casual discussion with the Head of Intelligence, BA decided to return home shortly afterward. Furthermore, based on information obtained from the OKI Regional Government Protocol Section, BA had coordinated with the OKI Regional Government to meet with the OKI Regent, claiming to be a representative of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office. However, the purpose of the meeting remains unknown, and the meeting with the OKI Regent has not yet taken place. Based on this information, the OKI District Attorney's Intelligence Team received orders from the OKI District Attorney to secure BA at the Saudagar restaurant in Kayu Agung. After BA was apprehended, he was immediately taken to the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office for questioning. The investigation revealed that BA was not a prosecutor, but an active civil servant with the Women's Empowerment and Family Planning Agency (BPPKB) of Way Kanan Regency with the rank of 3D. During the inspection, BA was seized from BA in the form of one cell phone, one National Identity Card (KTP), one Employee Card, one KTA (Kartu Kartu Tanda Kepala), one name tag, and one set of Gamjak uniforms from the Prosecutor's Office. BA is currently undergoing an in-depth investigation to determine the next legal process. We will not tolerate actions that tarnish the integrity of law enforcement agencies, particularly the Prosecutor's Office. The Prosecutor's Office is committed to ensuring justice and maintaining public trust. We also urge the public to be wary of individuals impersonating prosecutors or other law enforcement agencies and to immediately report suspicious incidents to the authorities.
