These gears were created to be a part of the drive system and their purpose is to transfer the rotating power that comes from the turbine to the steering bracket roller, which ultimately turns the wheels and allows the cleaner to maneuver around the surface as it cleans. The gears are white and are much wider than the other gears used for the internal mechanisms of the cleaner and to help it operate. Also, they come with the metal shafts needed for installment along the lower body. We suggest checking the teeth on these gears as well as the others periodically, as they can wear and deteriorate over the length of extended time and use of the cleaner.
