Worst Boat Project So Far! Salon A/C Removal on our 48 Sea Ray Sundancer

This was definitely NOT a fun project, BUT it had to be done! We removed the salon air conditioner from our 2007 48 Sea Ray Sundancer. Before we attempted this project, we scoured the internet looking for a video to guide us, but couldn’t find anything. What we DID find was a lot of people that were also searching for the same thing. So, we learned as we went along, and after about 4 hours of prodding, moving, unscrewing, screwing, shifting, detaching, reattaching and positioning, we FINALLY got the unit out of one of the most ridiculously tight spots that you could imagine. So, here it is! We replaced our Dometic with a CTM AC unit.
