Derek's Lawyers Already Faced Blizzard in Turtle WoW

Lawyer Without Law School: https://a.co/d/02ORwwBi Episode 4.5 starts where Episode 4 ends. Documents 29 through 31 identify counsel for Derek Powell and the other appearing defendants, show New York attorney Oxana Lukina applying to join Derek's defense, and confirm that Blizzard withdrew its current early-discovery request after certain defendants appeared. That withdrawal is without prejudice. Blizzard kept the option to return, and the judge did not approve or deny the request. Then the new lawyer filing points to Blizzard's Turtle WoW case. Public docket records show Frederic Douglas and Oxana Lukina represented Josiah Zimmer there. I walk through the relevant sequence: limited early discovery, a stipulated dismissal of the RICO claims against Zimmer, denial of his motion to dismiss the remaining claims, and the consent judgment and permanent injunction that followed. That is direct experience with Blizzard's litigation approach. It does not tell us what Derek's defense will argue or how this case will end. We still need the next defense filing. This video is public commentary based on court filings and public docket records. Allegations are not findings. I do not represent Blizzard, Project Ascension, Derek Powell, Josiah Zimmer, or any defendant. Please keep the discussion on the public record. Do not dox, threaten, contact, brigade, or publish private information about anyone involved. Sources: Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. v. Powell et al., C.D. Cal.
