Fireworks Viewed from a Cessna - USA 250
On July 4, 2026, I celebrated the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence by flying my Cessna Cutlass over foreworks shows in the Houston-Galveston region. I created video of the experience using an Insta360 X5 camera set for low light, and my iPhone 15 camera. The results are satisfactory despite some image stabilization and focus issues. Fireworks are better viewed on the ground or in a low flying helicopter. Flying in my Cessna allowed me to view many fireworks shows on the same night.
