Flying Over Monument Valley in My Cessna Cutlass
I flew 3,800 nautical miles (4,370 miles) from July 17, 2025, to July 30, 2025. The main focus was EAA Airventure 2025 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The primary flight triangle was KLVJ-KOSH-KWHP-KLVJ. I have made many flights from Southeast Texas to Southern California and back. I usually fly over Meteor Crater, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and parts of the Grand Canyon. I decided to deviate from my usually routes, and fly over Monument Valley in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. I also flew over Four Corners, which will be covered in another video. One motivation for deviating about an hour out of my way was my appreciation for American Western movies. Monument Valley is a common setting for many such movies.
