The Weekend Before Everything Changed | Buffalo River

A few days before surgery, I needed to get away. My friend and I spent the weekend exploring Glory Hole Falls, the Buffalo National River, and the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, but this trip became about much more than the places we visited. We talked about life, fear, taking chances, creativity, friendship, and learning to be vulnerable. Sometimes the conversations we need most happen when we're far away from the noise of everyday life. This weekend reminded me that time doesn't speed up or slow down—it simply moves forward. What really matters is how we choose to spend it and the people we choose to share it with.
