Super Quick Pantry Beef Stew
How do you cook with home canned food? Why stock a large pantry? Here is a super quick beef stew make almost entirely from canned foods that can be thrown together in under 10 minutes. Pantry Beef Stew Recipe: 1lb grass-fed beef, cubed 2 cups potatoes, cubed 2 cups carrots, sliced or cubed 1 cup onion, sauteed 2 cloves garlic, sauteed 2 cups crushed tomatoes 1 cup beef broth 1-2 tbsp. tomato paste Seasonings (worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, parsley, salt, pepper, cayenne, sugar, bouillon) Slurry: 2 heaping tbsp. tapioca starch (or flour or corn starch) cold water (or broth) If you have some tips or a video on using home canned foods in recipes, please be sure to leave a comment or link below.
