When we first found this beautiful log cabin in the Dutch countryside, we thought we'd discovered the perfect place to call home. It was peaceful, surrounded by nature and looked exactly like the kind of place we'd always dreamed of living. But as time went on, we uncovered a series of unexpected problems that eventually led us to make the difficult decision to leave much earlier than we had planned.
