Today's episode focuses on a little experiment to make the cell activator in a bloom recipe not be so obtrusive by using the same color for the house paint, the first puddle color, and the cell activator color. Basically the opposite of what I've been doing ever since I took the SheleeArt course. I create 3 fluid art paintings in all. Will it work? Does it make much of a difference? Let's find out!! New! Colors/Brands/Recipe: House Paint-base aka puddle for the canvas: Sherwin Williams Color to Go (Sherwin Williams store) and Glidden Essentials Eggshell White House paint (Home Depot) 4 cup batch each mixed with 1/4 cup Golden GAC800 to prevent crazing Pouring Medium aka PM-mix with all colors EXCEPT the cell activator: Sherwin Williams HGTV Ultra Deep Base UNtinted house paint (you can substitute with Behr Interior/Exterior High Gloss Enamel DEEP Base #8300 (Home Depot)); Minwax Polyacrylic Gloss varnish ; 2:1 ratio paint to varnish Brands/Colors mixed: Golden Fluid Acrylics Iridescent Deep Gold Fine; several drops into a 3 oz. cup of PM; Amsterdam Black Oxide and Titanium White; 1/2 ounce each mixed with 2 oz. pouring medium + a tablespoon of varnish.
