Arriving in Galiwin’ku on remote Elcho Island - East Arnhem Land.
In this episode we say goodbye to Nhulunbuy and fly out to Galiwin’ku on Elcho Island. Galiwin’ku is a remote indigenous community situated of the cost of East Arnhem land on Elcho Island, this will be our home for the next five weeks. Galiwin’ku is the largest Yolngu community in East Arnhem land with a rich cultural history, we will learn so much here! The boys have started school on the island and we are slowly absorbing this amazing community.
