Every Time We Fixed One Thing, We Found Another | Zodiac V8 Build - Day 2

Day Two of trying to get the Ford Zodiac V8 running brought plenty of progress... and plenty of new problems. We finish plumbing the fuel system with AN6 fittings, complete the cooling system, find top dead centre, install the distributor, wire the starter circuit and get closer than ever to firing the engine up. Along the way we uncover a surprising discovery under the rocker covers, diagnose a dead starter motor, replace a damaged oil filter fitting and discover the replacement water pump creates a pulley alignment issue. 🚗 Car: Ford Zodiac V8 🔧 Job: Fuel system, cooling system, ignition timing & starter troubleshooting ⚠️ Reason: Preparing the engine for first startup Chapters: 00:00 - Intro 01:06 - AN6 Fitting 07:01 - Finishing the Fuel Lines 09:41 - Cooling Pipes plue Easteregg! 11:46 - Electrics! 16:16 - Distributor Install & TDC 19:54 - Trying to Save the Starter 21:58 - Water Pump & Oil Fitting 2 Project cars never seem to let you finish one job without revealing another, but we're getting closer to hearing this V8 run for the first time. #fordzodiac #v8swap #classicford #projectcar #restoration
