Briones (La Rioja, España)
Briones es un municipio de la comunidad de La Rioja cuyo nombre deriva de la tribu de los Berones, antiguos pobladores celtas de la región. Se levanta sobre un cerro a 80 m sobre el río Ebro. Tiene una población de 754 habitantes, 1.300 hectáreas de viñedo y siete bodegas que se benefician de unos suelos, compuestos de arcillas ferrosas, que dan lugar a excelentes vinos tintos.
