MOM & DAUGHTERS CRY THROUGH VOICEMAILS FOR ISABELLE! We're back with another Mom & Daughters Reacts, and this time Tessa (Mama's Geeky), Lorie, and Ivy are watching Voicemails For Isabelle... and WOW. We had absolutely NO idea what we were getting ourselves into. This movie completely and utterly destroyed us. It's been a long time since all three of us cried this hard during a movie. By the end, Lorie and Ivy were literally holding hands while crying, and you better believe I immediately called my sister after we finished filming. This story is emotional, heartfelt, beautifully written, and one that will stay with us for a very long time. One of our favorite things about the film is how many incredible nods there are to some of our favorite romantic movies. There are several references to iconic rom-coms—including The Notebook (which you know we absolutely LOVE... and yes, check out our The Notebook reaction if you haven't already!). Those moments made us smile even while we were wiping away tears. And then... TWO Taylor Swift songs?! We were not expecting that, and they fit the emotional beats of the movie so perfectly. Every musical choice seemed to make the story hit even harder. The performances throughout the film are absolutely incredible, and the emotional journey feels so genuine that it's impossible not to become invested in these characters. It's funny, romantic, heartbreaking, hopeful, and ultimately one of the most emotionally impactful films we've watched together. If you're looking for a movie that will make you laugh, cry, appreciate the people you love, and immediately want to call your family afterward... Voicemails For Isabelle absolutely delivers.
