We're back with another Mom & Daughters Reacts, and this time Tessa (Mama's Geeky), Lorie, and Ivy are finishing Heartstopper Season 3 as we continue our journey toward Heartstopper Forever! How is this show able to make us smile, laugh, cry, and completely fall apart all within the same episode?! The second half of Season 3 is easily the most emotional stretch of Heartstopper yet. While there are still plenty of adorable Nick and Charlie moments that remind us why we fell in love with this series, these episodes also tackle some of the most important and difficult topics the show has ever explored. Watching Charlie continue his recovery journey was incredibly moving. The series handles mental health, eating disorders, and healing with so much care and compassion, and we found ourselves rooting for him every step of the way. His growth throughout the season is beautiful to watch. Meanwhile, Nick is learning what it means to support someone he loves while also figuring out his own future. The conversations about university, growing up, and what comes next for their relationship hit surprisingly hard. These characters have come so far since Season 1, and seeing them navigate these new challenges felt incredibly real. We also loved spending more time with the rest of the friend group. Tao and Elle continue to be adorable, Tara and Darcy face important challenges together, and every character gets meaningful moments that make this ensemble one of the best on television. And then there's the finale... The emotional conversations, the growth, the hope, and the love between these characters left us completely invested in what comes next. If this season proved anything, it's that Heartstopper continues to be one of the most heartfelt and important coming-of-age stories ever put on screen. Now we are MORE THAN READY for Heartstopper Forever! Joe Locke (Agatha All Along, Heartstopper) delivers one of his strongest performances yet as Charlie Spring, bringing vulnerability, strength, and heart to Charlie's recovery journey. Kit Connor (Rocketman, Warfare) continues to shine as Nick Nelson, balancing emotional maturity, love, and uncertainty about the future. Yasmin Finney (Doctor Who, Heartstopper) remains wonderful as Elle Argent, bringing warmth and confidence to every scene. William Gao (Heartstopper) continues to charm as Tao Xu, whose relationship with Elle remains one of the sweetest parts of the series. Corinna Brown (Heartstopper, My Murder) and Kizzy Edgell (Heartstopper) deliver emotional performances as Tara Jones and Darcy Olsson. Olivia Colman (The Crown, The Favourite) once again steals every scene she's in as Nick's loving and supportive mother. We laughed, we cried, and we somehow fell even more in love with these characters. What an incredible season.
