Foreign media outlets are also viewing this phenomenon as serious; one Japanese media outlet even reported that "as the Cannes Film Festival season approaches, invitation tickets to the festival are sold on Chinese online shopping malls." In reality, most Chinese influencers, no matter how much of a scene they create by wearing inappropriate dresses, fail to get caught on the main cameras, let alone captured by the cameras of the official photographers on site.
