It’s our 60th anniversary. And in those 60 years, a whole new world developed in Northwest Wyoming. A culture born, community fostered. Engineering breakthroughs and limits pushed. We’ve lived a lot in these sixty years — so many have worked hard to build this place. And they’ve played hard, too. Lifetimes of memories, endless stoke; it feels like it’s been a long time coming, yet these six decades barely scratch the surface of our history. Layers of Time celebrates the work that took place long before people thought about strapping planks to their feet and sliding downhill – long before humans walked the Earth, even. The real story is written in the ground beneath us. A ~9-million-year-old saga starring a mountain range that is still growing. As we celebrate our 60th, we would be remiss to not celebrate the fault line that produced our favorite fall lines. It is a tale of the Tetons’ geologic and tectonic wonder - the story of how our favorite mountain came to be and how the unique terrain we love was shaped.
