Kiripotib wächst: Neue Sternwarten, neue Montierungen, größtes Teleskop bisher - Astro in Namibia

Kiripotib Guest Farm will have new telescopes, mounts, and even a new remote observatory starting in 2027. The flagship of the new fleet will be a Celestron EDGE HD 11" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, housed in the "Hasenschanze," the farm's large observatory. With a 279 mm aperture and a 2800 mm focal length, it will be the farm's largest (photographic) telescope to date. In addition, a 10" Lacerta Newtonian telescope with a 1000 mm focal length will be acquired. This will be mounted on a Sky-Watcher EQ8-R mount, of which there will be two starting in 2027. A large remote observatory is also planned, which will offer space for six to eight telescopes. With this, Kiripotib Guest Farm is now entering the professional remote observatory business.
