Ep 23 | Munda Biddi at 65 - Jinung Beigabup Hut to Denmark

Episode 23 of Solo at 65 - The Munda Biddi Journey. This was, without question, one of the most beautiful days of the entire journey. Leaving Jinung Beigabup Hut, the trail rolled mostly downhill toward the coast - and my first sight of the Great Southern Ocean. Arriving at Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks was simply breathtaking. Clear turquoise water, white sand, and massive granite formations - a place that truly lives up to its reputation. After a well-earned coffee stop, the ride continued along a windswept escarpment, past the huge wind turbines toward the outskirts of Denmark. The wind was so strong I had to remove my sunshade, and the trail was lined with vibrant wildflowers the whole way. A brief encounter with a tiger snake added a reminder that this landscape, as beautiful as it is, is still wild. I arrived in Denmark to rest, regroup, and catch up with my trail friends - with just a couple of days left to complete the journey. A day I’ll never forget. Music: Gavin Luke – via Epidemic Sound
