The Bibbulmun Track - Northcliffe to Walpole

7 day section hike of the Bibbulmun Track from Northcliffe to Walpole in Western Australia Checkout all the gear we use here: https://linktr.ee/chrisanddanya Date hiked: August 2023 Distance: 144 KM Duration: 6-8 days Northcliffe to Walpole is one of the most varied sections of the Bibbulmun Track and also the most remote with no civilisation for numerous days. This section is also one of the most divisive with hikers. Seasonal flooding affects the area known as the Pingerup Plains, if you walk this section in winter or spring then there is a high chance you'll be spending days on end wading knee or sometimes waist deep in water. As you traverse the landscape, your day might take you from Karri forest to open plains to meandering along a river to walking along the coastline. Southbound walkers will experience the might of the Southern Ocean for the first time while northbound walkers will leave the dunes behind and enter the beautiful forests of the South West all the way up to Kalamunda.
