Common Farm MX Review - YZF250 2025 POV

Firstly.. I'm not the best rider by no means, but I'd like to think after riding MX consistently for 15 years now that I've experienced my fair share of tracks and conditions. This is just my opinion so don't take it as gospel! Track started wet wet wet, loads of water went down, which is fine for this time of year, good even! But the prep wasn't great, not ripped deep enough so the water just sat onto a hard base under 4 inches of power harrowed dirt. Then at the end of the day, it just went into a good old dust session with a concrete hard base. If ripped deeper before power harrow some nice inside ruts would have formed instead of the shallow dirt just pushing from the hard base and turning into outside dust turns. Jump faces had no lips, literally rolled at the tops so seat bouncing was required for them to get over nicely. Good landings which is always nice, overall size of them is moderate / small. Definitely rode worse jumps! It's a local track to me, so I'll go back. Not a huge fan of paying £40 to ride a garden track with no marshals except the chequered flag guy. Especially when you can go to national race tracks and they're charging the same with a lot more overheads. Honest opinion, if this was more than an hour away from home, I'd go ride somewhere else. It is good for kids, 85cc and under, and novice riders! 4/10 on the day due to the jumps and general track prep, but if the track was perfect I'd give it a 6/10 (I've rode it before in much better conditions and shape jumps). Which for a back garden track isn't bad! And that is my brief review of Common Farm MX! Thanks for watching / reading.. :)
