Whitley MX New Layout(ish) 05-07-2026

Can't say I'm a fan of the changes.. The 1st jump is good, flows well, and the tight S bends afterwards. But that triple after is harsh, landing needs to be built up massively! Then the small tabletop at the edge of the track which they've extended the landing on. The landing is pretty choppy but in general it's like in between a skii jump with a tabletop face? Doesn't really feel good or bad to hit, didn't try sending it too hard because even with the very gradual landing it'd be like flat landing.. It could be so much better with the space in that section of track.. I remember there used to be a roller section there which you could triple double double, or double double double single out. That was the best obstacle that has ever been on that section for sure.. Hats off to Shaun (or Sean) and the team for trying to update the track, can't say that enough, track owners don't update / make changes enough! Some people might enjoy all the changes! For me, I'd have preferred to have rode the old layout over this one today. They're still tweaking bits! So hopefully they get feedback from riders and make the adjustments needed.
