In this video, Mother Miriam explains her reason as to why she changed her stance on the SSPX's decision to consecrate bishops against the will of Pope Leo XIV. After listening to an interview with John Henry Westen and Father James Altman, Mother came to the conclusion that approval of these consecrations could only lead to Protestantism. Since that moment, she has also seen traditional Catholics like Michael Matt begin to create rifts with other traditional Catholics. The same in-fighting that led to the many denominations of protestantism we see today. Mother reaffirms her belief that the consecrations should not have occurred, as well as that we must stay obedient to the Pope. Despite issues such as China's bishops, the "Archbishop" of Canterbury, and blessings of homosexual unions, we cannot turn away from Rome.
