Pope St. Pius X - A Complete History

Pope St. Pius X was Bishop of Rome from August 4 1903 to August 20, 1914. He is one of the very few Popes to come from humble backgrounds, being born in the small town of Riese to poor parents. A staunch opponent of Modernism, Pius X was responsible from the suppression of the efforts of Modernists in corrupting the Faith. Besides Modernism, he faced several political crises, such as the Mexican and Portuguese Revolutions. He died during World War I. ✠ Subscribe To The Classical Discourse And Don't Forget To Smash That 👍✠ ------------------------------ • The Classical Discourse:    / @thedukeoftravancore   • Fantastic Saints Playlist:    • ✝️Fantastic Saints - Fascinating Saints fo...   • Our Facebook Page:   / fantasticcatholic   • Fantastic Catholic on Quora: https://fantasticcatholic.quora.com/ • Twitter:   / duketravancore   ---------- Timestamps: 0:00 The Conclave of 1903 2:24 Childhood 4:20 Priesthood 8:14 Bishop of Mantua 10:34 Patriarch of Venice 14:26 Election as Pope 16:07 Tra Le Sollecitiduni - Motu Proprio on Sacred Music 17:10 Pius X and the French Government 20:18 Pius X and the Italian Government 21:35 Pius X and the Portuguese Revolution of 1910 22:25 Pius X and the Mexican Revolution 23:02 Pius X and Jansenism 27:16 Pius X and Modernism 31:55 Miscellaneous Achievements and Virtues of the Papacy 35:30 Pius X, World War I and Death 38:42 Beatification and Canonisation ---------- Image/Video Courtesy: The Secret Conclave (1952):    • The Secret Conclave (with English Subtitle...   By Syrio - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index...
