It's the one that made the entire market rethink what a gym is. That's Six: R$ 20 million investment to open. Monthly fees from R$ 4,500 to R$ 6,000. And yet: sold out. In this video, I went to Six Sport Life in Vila Nova Conceição, São Paulo, and asked the founders everything to understand the business behind the business. Not what you see when you walk in, but what sustains it all underneath. Capex, payback, LTV, and behind-the-scenes information – everything that almost no one shows in the fitness industry. A Six unit costs between R$15 and R$20 million to set up. Equipment alone costs R$7 million. The monthly fee starts at R$4,500, double what the most expensive gym in Brazil was before they arrived. And even so, all units have waiting lists – how can a gym charge 3x the market price, limit membership, create a club-like atmosphere, and still build a growth model where the student themselves becomes an investor? The founders came from Coco Bambu and brought to the gym a model the sector had never seen before: hotel-style experience, partner-operator in each unit, and a limit of 400 to 600 members per space.
