When Do The Big Bass Bite? The Answer My Friend Is Blowing In The Wind!!

I hit the Columbia again but this time it was a solo trip. The wind was blowing and the bass were liking it! I ended up with 41 bass with the best 5 going 15lb 7oz and 94.25". They are mostly still pretty skinny from the spawn but some are starting to fatten up nicely. The lure of the day was the Megabass Vision 110 plus 1. I caught some bass on the S-waver, and had a lot of follows that just would not commit. However they were destroying the 110 plus 1. I also caught my first drop shot bass in a long time, one on the wobblehead and a decent number on a 4" paddle tail swim bait on a 1/4oz jighead. I could not buy a bite on topwater. The only sadness was snagging up my favorite 110 plus one late in the day. I ordered a replacement while still on the river :)
