ASÍ ES LA VIDA en un PUEBLO de ESLOVAQUIA
With my wife Dace we went back to the other side of the map to share it with you and we arrived in Slovakia, this time, to delve a little into its interior. That's why we took a train to Malacky, in the north of the country, one of the many unknown cities in this country nestled in the western Carpathians. Life in the interior of Slovakia, far from the largest cities like Bratislava or Kosice, offers a calmer pace of life surrounded by nature, in which the swaying anatomies walk more slowly. To learn more about Bratislava and the most important cities in this country, we recommend the videos that we made in the previous series and that you can find on the channel. The natural environment of the small towns is dominated by mountainous landscapes, forests, valleys and rivers, ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, fishing and winter sports. But we delve into urban life, as is customary on the canal. The pace of life is clearly slower and the communities are more united, we have noticed many people chatting leisurely while doing daily tasks. The streets are quiet, the air is clean and life is simpler. On the other hand, the cost of living is lower than in the capital Bratislava, an already economical city, the lower costs are especially evident in regards to housing, food and transportation. In the interior of Slovakia the main economic activity continues to be agriculture, followed by the forestry industry, tourism and crafts. The job offer may be less than in the cities, but there is also less competition. The care of the gardens, the floral arrangements, the affection that is manifested in the little things is something that has caught our attention. Slovaks seem to be further removed from global problems. These small peculiarities make the interior of Slovakia a unique place. Folk traditions, music and local cuisine are preserved here. The patron saint festivals and cultural events are important for social life in these communities. Today Slovakia considers its recent history to date back to 1992. They are proud to be members of the European Union since 2004 and to use the Euro. However, as can be seen in some images, they have no problem with the future they have experienced in recent times and they do not deny their past. This is saying a lot in times of political correctness. Most cities and small towns in Slovakia have access to basic services such as education, health, public transport and shops. However, the offer is more limited than in large cities and even than in neighboring countries such as the Czech Republic, Austria or Poland. But among the advantages of life in the interior of Slovakia, tranquility and contact with nature stand out. This is one of the safest countries in Europe and with a lower rate of social inequality. Of course there are also disadvantages of living in the interior of Slovakia, less job offer and professional development opportunities, less access to services and entertainment and possible social isolation if you are not integrated into the community must be taken into account. Among the main challenges facing Slovakia at the moment, the war in neighboring Ukraine and its consequences must not be missed: The energy crisis, since the country depends heavily on imports of natural gas from Russia, and the war has made it more difficult and expensive to obtain, and the arrival of refugees: Slovakia has taken in more than 100,000 Ukrainians, putting pressure on public services and housing. Although Slovakia has generally grown in the last 30 years, many young Slovaks are still emigrating to other countries in search of better opportunities. This is depriving the country of talent and human capital and depopulation threatens certain regions. In any case, Slovakia is a country that will not disappoint you if you come to explore its interior, it has a great railway system that will take you comfortably to all its corners, with natural beauty around and an air of freshness and tranquility that you can spend your days here. a good experience. #openyourwindowtotheworld #ViajarEsHipervivir 🌎 Subtitles in Portuguese, Italian, German, French, Russian, Polish and English. 🔎 I am Gustavo Llusá, Argentine, after traveling for several years through more than 65 countries I settled in Latvia where I married Dace and learned to know another way of life, on the other side of the map. 👇👇👇 COMMENT AND OPINION
