Such a treatment area is established when large numbers of injured people need to be treated simultaneously during major incidents – for example, disasters, major traffic accidents, fires, or other exceptional emergency situations. Several tents and treatment areas are set up for this purpose. In addition to a triage area, there are separate treatment areas for red, yellow, and green patients, allowing for structured medical care based on the severity of their injuries. The BHP 25 enables up to 25 patients per hour to be triaged, treated, and prepared for transport to appropriate hospitals.
