🏥 A hospital made of boxes – ready for deployment anywhere in the world within 72 hours. At INTERSCHUTZ, we had the opportunity to take a closer look at the German Red Cross's mobile hospital. What initially appears to be a collection of containers and tents is actually a fully equipped hospital with an emergency room, operating theater, X-ray department, laboratory, pharmacy, maternity ward, and inpatient beds. Thanks to its modular design, the hospital can be flexibly adapted to the specific situation. It is deployed wherever hospitals have been destroyed by natural disasters or armed conflicts, or where medical care is no longer sufficient. The German Red Cross can deploy the hospital anywhere in the world within 72 hours and put it into operation together with local emergency services.
