Chasing Puffins Across Newfoundland, Canada

Newfoundland is one of the best places in the world to see Atlantic puffins, so I set out across the province to visit some of its most spectacular seabird colonies. From dramatic coastal cliffs to a boat tour through North America's largest puffin colony, this is my journey chasing puffins across Newfoundland. From the cliffs of Elliston and Cape St. Mary's to the waters of Witless Bay Ecological Reserve, I explore some of the best places in Newfoundland to see puffins in the wild. Along the way, I share what makes each location unique, where to find the best puffin viewing opportunities, and what it actually takes to photograph and film these incredible little seabirds in their natural habitat.
