This is an easy way to make QALMI BAREY ( yellow and gram lentil fritters) .A recipe that brings childhood memories so try and send me a pic on my face book page also share your views in comments section below. INGREDIENTS : gram lentil 1 cup soaked yellow lentil 1 cup soaked roasted crushed cumin 1 tbsp roasted crushed coriander 1-1/2 tbsp red chili flakes 2 tsp full salt 2 tsp leveled or to taste turmeric 1/2 tsp all spice powder 1/2 tsp ( garam masala ) baking soda 1/4 tsp ( meetha soda ) garlic paste 1 tsp METHOD : soak daals for 3 to 4 hours then drain water and grind with garlic paste in a grinding jug with very little water. paste should be very thick. now add all remaining ingredients in it. mix well and whisk in just one direction 2 minutes. now heat up oil apply water on hands and take 2 tbsp mixture and shape it like a square or rectangle. slide it down straight in hot oil very carefully and fry til get a nice light golden color. fry just like a pakora . then put in a plate and let it cool completely. cut it in 2 or 3 slices (depending on the thickness) now heat up oil gain. turn the flame on low and fry them 2nd time. this time fry more from the raw side and less from the fried side. fry them til get crispy and dark brown. take out in a plate. leave for few minutes and these will be super crispy . store in a jar for up to a week. serve as a snack at any time or with tea. enjoy :) MY SECOND CHANNEL / @maherazlifestyle1899 facebook page / maherazcooking Pinterest / maherai Instagram https://www.instagram.com/maheraz_coo... #qalmibarey #doublefriedpakorey #daalkpakorey
