Abandoned Hobbiton in California and The Legend of Bigfoot on the old Redwood Highway

Hobbiton, USA. My great lost love - as a kid I desperately wanted to see this former Lord of the Rings attraction and never did! Closed and then Abandoned behind the famous Living Chimney Tree - and eventually vandalized and stolen from - there is very little now to mark the place this amazing attraction once stood but old trail posts, piled stones, and the dilapidated remains of long forgotten hobbit holes. For some reason because we never went though it, I obsessed over this place for years and dreamed of returning. And now, I’ve made it! But the road to Hobbiton is the Old Redwood Highway, and just like Bilbo and Frodo Baggins’ paths, our road is full of adventures! From the Famous One Log House to the historic and beautiful Richardson Grove, we travel the old redwood highway to “THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT” which involves a lot more Gnomes than I’d have ever expected!
