Roads in Tasmania (124) Jan24 - Day Trip - Ben Lomond NP - Jacob’s Ladder - Summit Walk

We have an exciting day trip today- one that Monique, in particular, has been looking forward to for a few months. It is a trip to Ben Lomond National Park and a drive up Jacob’s Ladder to the ski resort. Jacob’s Ladder is an iconic drive that cannot be tackled with a trailer or caravan. We recommend that you take your time and be aware that traffic can come the other way, so caution is required. It is a bit hair raising in places if you look over the edge as you are going. But essentially it is a drive to experience first hand. We drive all the way to the resort and ski lodge village and decide to walk to the summit.
