Roads in Tasmania (125) Jan24- Travel Day- Evandale to Campbell Town- Markets, Perth, Cressy

It’s travel day, but before we hit the road the Evandale Markets are on and we’ve heard so much about these markets from the locals we decide to check them out for ourselves. What a fabulous market- heaps of variety, plenty of characters, food and a great atmosphere. It’s no wonder people travel each Saturday from Launceston to visit. We head off the main highway to take a brief look at a couple of towns Karen had read about- Perth (with its a very special Baptist tabernacle), Longford and Cressy (the trout fishing capital of Tasmania). It’s a beautiful drive and these towns are on our list to return to explore more thoroughly. We arrive in Campbell Town tired, but keen to explore tomorrow.
