Ed René Kivitz is a theologian, lecturer, and holds a master's degree in Religious Studies. Senior pastor of the Água Branca Baptist Church since 1989, he is the creator of the Christian Professionals Forum and author of more than 30 books, including Talmidim and *Outra Espiritualidade*. Is it possible to live one's faith without transforming it into an instrument of power? What did Jesus really teach? Does the Bible justify everything said in its name?
