特別公開 平成31年 南座新開場記念 都をどり「御代始歌舞伎彩」The Miyako Odori 2019 Special Video

This is an edited version of the eight-scene Miyako Odori dance "Miyo Hajime Kabuki no Irodori" (The Colors of Kabuki Beginnings of the Reign) to commemorate the 2019 Minami-za Theater's reopening. The opening features a greeting from Master Yachiyo Inoue V, head of the Inoue School of Kyomai. Unfortunately, this year, we were unable to share this magnificent performance with everyone. While this is truly disappointing, the geisha and maiko of the Gion Kobu Kabukai continue to practice daily, hoping for the day when everyone can see it again. We hope that you will continue to support us so that we can show you an even better performance next spring.
