Just follow the same steps) 1 steak 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp butter First things first. Take the steak out of it's packaging and remove any moisture on the steak by patting it dry with a paper towel. Now it's time to season the steak. You can use your favorite rub or seasoning - if you aren't sure, we recommend a blend of salt, peppper, and garlic. Once you have both sides of the steak seasoned, place the steak in the fridge until it is time to cook. If using a charcoal grill, fill a starter chimney full of charcoal and light. When the charcoal is ready, dump it into the grill and arrange the charcoal as best you can to the approx size of your cast iron pan or griddle. Place your cast iron pan on the grill grate directly above the coals. Add 2 tbsp olive oil and cover the pan. When the oil begins to smoke, that's your cue to start the steak! Place the steak carefully in the pan and cook in the oil, flipping every 30 seconds or so until both sides are well browned. Then add 2 tbsp butter and continue to cook the steak, flipping every 30 seconds, until the steak has reads about 10 degrees less than your target temp for the steak. At that time, remove the steak from the pan and tent with foil. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Slice, serve, and enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ #BarlowBBQ #PanSearedSteak #CharcoalGrillPanSear
