Hand drill turned into a lamp - Chignole transformée en lampe

The main challenge was to integrate the power cord into the body of the lamp in order to respect the lines of the whole. The base, which supports the lamp at three points, giving it a slight balancing effect, has been treated with walnut husk and beeswax. Cette lampe vintage élaborée à partir d’une ancienne chignole affiche un style évoquant l’époque victorienne. Le principal défi fut d’intégrer le cordon d’alimentation dans le corps de la lampe afin de respecter les lignes de l’ensemble. Le socle qui supporte la lampe en trois points de fixations lui donnant ainsi un léger effet d’équilibre, a bénéficié d’un traitement au brou de noix et à la cire d’abeille. l’électricité, neuve et conforme aux normes européennes est couronnée par une ampoule de type Edison.
