Old hand drill industrial lamp... Lampe industrielle ancienne chignole à carter

This time it is a casing model whose mechanics, mainly gears, are partitioned in the body. As in my previous work, I wanted to make any unsightly electrical wire as discreet as possible ... I had to modify axes and gears to integrate the power cord inside the lamp. The cleaning was partly done with white vinegar, sodium bicarbonate and elbow grease to avoid the purchase of expensive and harmful products. The varnishes and paints are of course A+ quality. C’est la deuxième fois que je démonte une ancienne chignole pour la transformer en lampe de type industrielle. Il s’agit cette fois-ci d’un modèle à carter dont la mécanique constituée principalement d’engrenages est cloisonnée dans le corps de l’outil. Comme dans mes précédentes réalisations, j’ai tenu à rendre tout fil électrique disgracieux le plus discret possible …J’ai donc du modifier axes et engrenages afin d’intégrer le cordon d’alimentation à l’intérieur de la lampe. Le nettoyage s’est fait en partie au vinaigre blanc, bicarbonate de sodium et à l’huile de coude afin d’éviter l’achat de produits couteux et nocifs.
