In this Part 2 video, I walk through step-by-step how to install a telescoping whisker pole on a modern cruising sailboat. I explain all of the hardware and mounting techniques required to ensure the pole will be strong and stable. I also walk through each of the steps we follow to safely deploy the pole with both a jib and a Code 0 sail, with footage from onboard our 44 foot sailboat Sea Rose.
