Wehraschlucht und Wehratal-Erlebnispfad - das Tor zum Naturpark Südschwarzwald | Hiking Black Forest

The Southern Black Forest Nature Park is one of Germany's most beautiful and most visited recreational regions. It was created and shaped over centuries primarily through agricultural activity. The town of Wehr fulfills its role as one of the gateways to the nature park, particularly through the Wehratal Nature Trail. The Wehratal Nature Trail leads partly through the wild and romantic Wehra Gorge with its protected forest. It comprises more than 30 stations along a route of approximately 27 km from the source of the Wehra River to its confluence with the High Rhine. Today, the trail runs for 8 km from Wehr to the Wehratal Bridge on the Schluchtensteig trail.
