Metra 8602 East in La Grange, IL 5/25/25

I came out to La Grange this day to get the in between phase of BNSF's crossing upgrades through here. At this point, all of the crossings had the standalone pedestrian gates replaced, but the road signals were still the same. This crossing was to get new gate masts and 2 more new pedestrian gates very soon. What I was not expecting was for the gate mast closest to me in this video to be destroyed in a train v. truck collision that happened a few weeks after this was taken. After that, the new masts on the north side were quickly installed, and then a few weeks later, the south side had its road signal mast replaced. Surprisingly, the older cantilever still remains.
