0866: BRIVIDI apro BLISTER NUOVA ELETTRONICA di 40 anni fa, oscillatori a BJT

In this video, I open an original Nuova Elettronica blister pack from Rivista 81, 1982, untouched and sealed 40 years ago, kindly donated by Maurizio, a channel subscriber. It's the LX 509A,B kit titled "Experimental AF Oscillators," and I use it with a new circuit board we designed specifically for experimenting with BJT transistors, called the "experimental BJT board." The circuit board features a whole series of components that make it configurable and suitable for quick modifications. I create the first oscillator schematic proposed in the Nuova Elettronica article to test a quartz-driven BJT oscillator and verify the frequencies it works on, whether in the fundamental harmonic or overtone. I perform calibration measurements on the tuning group and analyze the signals on the oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer to determine the harmonic distortion.
