Bright lighting is essential for night driving, especially when traveling, as it provides comfort and safety for the driver, allowing them to better see obstacles on the road. But headlights don't always illuminate as well as they should, and several factors prevent them from working properly. Today we'll discuss one of these factors, which is very common in cars 15 years or older: weak wiring that's unable to supply the battery with all the power it can supply to the bulb. This problem is easily solved by installing a headlight boost relay. This relay consists of a closed compartment with two internal relays and built-in fuses. This provides moisture insulation, as it is most often installed in the engine compartment. Another benefit of good power flow is the connection system, which uses an eyelet terminal and screws onto the relay's external terminals, preventing any potential for poor contact and wire oxidation. To install the relay, you need to identify the wires that go to the bulbs. Typically, the main harness comes from inside the car on the driver's side, passes through the left headlight, and runs to the right side. To make installation easier, stay organized, and avoid excess wiring, it's best to install the relay right behind the left headlight. This is where the four high- and low-beam wires from both sides pass, and it's as close as possible to the bulbs. I recommend finding a place to mount the relay near the main wiring harness, stripping the wiring harness, and cutting the high and low beam wires there. This way, you can install the lug terminals seamlessly and without adding extra wires to the car. The relay will need power directly from the battery. This one uses a 4mm wire, which will be an extra wire in the car. The negative terminal can be simplified with a short wire running from the relay's negative terminal to the screw that secures the relay to the car's bodywork. After that, the relay will perform its function: it collects power from the car's turn signal switch to activate the relay and connects the positive terminal directly from the battery to the wire leading to the bulb. This is the trick to sending as much power as possible to the bulb. Now the car will have enough power to illuminate as best as possible. https://www.eunaupmotors.com.br/eletr...
