You'll feel a surge of fresh oxygen entering your body, filling you with energy and making you feel refreshed. ④ The concept of Laughter Yoga is based on scientific evidence that the body cannot distinguish between forced laughter and genuine laughter, and that both provide physical and mental benefits. ⑤ Laughter Yoga was devised in 1995 by Indian physician Madan Canary. It started with just five people in a park in Mumbai, but quickly spread worldwide, and now there are numerous Laughter Yoga clubs regularly operating in over 100 countries. Humans have the ability to read the emotions of others. Laughter is one of those emotions. Laughter spreads through the act of laughing.
