Haworth is a village in West Yorkshire probably best known for it's links to the Bronte Sisters (the Bronte family used to live at the parsonage here). Every year Haworth opens it's streets, it's park and it's shops and businesses to the 1940's weekend which is a commemoration and celebration of everything 40's from the music to the dress to the wartime effort and you can see that all the way through the village from army vehicles and displays to the cosy tea rooms with everyone in 1940's dress.
