Milw. Rd 261 and the Return of the Oriental Ltd May 17-18, 1997
May 17 and 18, 1997 saw the return of steam to the former Great Northern main line from Minneapolis Junction to Willmar Minnesota with short trips from Willmar west to the wye at Benson MN by the Friends of the 261. I rode on Saturday and chased on Sunday as was my normal railfan trip mode of chasing railfan trips.
