Finding Inspiration Outdoors | Painting Sun-Drenched Lambs in Gouache
I came across a beautiful, sun-drenched field with sheep and lambs—the light was so perfect I just had to paint it. In this video, I take that inspiration back to my desk and show you how I translate a photo into a finished sketch. I’ll explain why I decided to change the composition of my reference photo to better capture the "feeling" of the scene and how I use gouache and pencils to render that warm, golden sunlight.
