Turning My Travel Photos into Acrylic Paintings
In this video I show you my full painting process — from choosing a photo reference to completing an acrylic landscape on canvas. The reference is one of my own travel photos from Tuscany. What caught my eye was the rhythm of the pine trees and the feeling of warmth and sunlight from that hot summer day. I’ll walk you through how I select a reference, make a quick sketch, tone the canvas, and then build up the painting layer by layer. My goal is not to copy the photo, but to interpret it — to capture the atmosphere and turn it into a finished piece of art. If you enjoy painting, sketching, or just love watching the process of turning inspiration into art, I hope you’ll enjoy this video!
